Following her return to the LSU Tigers women's gymnastics team, Olivia Dunne gave a glimpse of the media day ahead of the commencement of the 2025 season. The gymnast decided to extend her college career with LSU after they won their first National Championships in 2024.

Dunne competed in nine meets for the purple and gold team this year, mostly in bars and floor, earning season highs of 9.875 and 9.900 points. The Tigers earned their historic victory after collecting a total of 198.225 points to defeat California and Utah, who bagged 197.850 and 197.800 points, respectively.

The 21-year-old shared a video of her announcing the return on social media saying:

“And no matter how many opportunities come my way off the mat, there’s just something about LSU. And that’s why I’m here to say I’m not Dunne yet. Here’s to Year Five, baby."

Dunne will join Haleigh Bryant, Sierra Ballard, Chase Brock, Alyona Shchennikova, Aleah Finnegan, KJ Johnson, and other elite gymnasts in the upcoming year. Ahead of the 2025 season's commencement, the 5th-year Senior shared a few glimpses of the media day. The LSU Tigers star was once again seen donning the purple and gold leotard.

Following her decision to continue representing the LSU Tigers for her fifth year, Olivia Dunne opened up about her plans following her college career.

Although Dunne has no intentions of competing on a prestigious stage such as the Olympics, in an interview with Fox News, she expressed her desire to collaborate with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, anticipating a promising prospect.

"We have the mindset where you just never settle," Olivia Dunne said. "We just want what’s next. We’re just excited for the future constantly. I feel like that’s a blessing and a curse at the same time."

She added:

"I feel like [Sports Illustrated] is something that can last beyond college. I think that’s important, creating a substantial brand that will last post-college. And [SI Swim] is one of those, I don’t even want to call it a partnership because they’re like family to me. That’s been amazing."

The next edition NCAA National Women's Gymnastics Championships will be held from April 17 to 19, 2025 at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth Texas.
