Suni Lee garnered a lot of attention from her followers after she appeared at the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards. The American gymnast wrapped up her season in August 2024 after the Paris Olympics.
Lee had a successful year. She concluded her 2024 Summer Games with three medals, one gold and two bronze. She won her first gold medal in the team's all-around event, earning 171.296 points to stand atop the podium.
Following this, she nabbed a bronze medal in the uneven bars, earning a score of 14.800 points, and stood out again in the women's individual all-around event, where she scored 56.465 points to secure her second bronze medal in Paris.
After these exploits, the gymnast is currently enjoying her off-season. The 21-year-old has recently been involved a lot in the fashion world, considering her appearance at Victoria Secret's fashion show in New York and her collaboration with her 'dream brand,' Lululemon. Now the gymnast was seen at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Award ceremony.
Suni Lee took to Instagram to share a bunch of pictures in her black-colored sleeveless dress, which she styled with a furry black cloth. In one of the pictures she was seen posing with the South African singer, Tyla, and also uploaded a picture of her table at the event, which showcased a card with her name printed on it. Suni Lee opened up about her take on fashion
In a July 2024 interview, Suni Lee spoke about her personal style and revealed what fashion meant to her. She opened up about her philosophy when it came to this genre and also revealed that she took her fashion inspiration from Hailey Bieber. (as quoted by South China Morning Post)
"I love to play with different styles when it comes to fashion, especially since I’m always in athleisure or my leotards," said Suni Lee. “I have really enjoyed getting to experiment with my own style as I’ve gotten older. My philosophy when it comes to fashion is to enjoy it and use it as a form of self-expression.”
She added:
“Hailey Bieber is my forever style inspiration. I love her effortless looks and how she blends sporty and feminine elements into her daily looks. I always look to her daily style when putting an outfit together.”
Suni Lee also appeared on the cover of Glamour magazine this year after being honored with Woman of the Year for her success at the Paris Olympics.
