In Pictures: Tara Davis-Woodhall and husband Hunter Woodhall honored at Arkansas Razorbacks football game
Reigning Olympic champion Tara Davis-Woodhall expressed her gratitude after she and her husband Hunter Woodhall were honored at the Arkansas Razorbacks football game for their Olympic and Paralympic achievements. The duo was also accompanied by fellow US Olympic champion Christopher Bailey and British sprinter Amber Anning.
This August, Davis-Woodhall participated in her second Olympic Games in Paris and earned the first gold of her career by defeating Germany's defending champion Malaika Mihambo. She stood atop the podium with a leap of 7.10 meters, while Mihambo could only achieve a jump of 6.98 meters to claim the silver medal. After wrapping up the 2024 season on a high note, the 25-year-old is currently relishing her downtime with her husband, who also earned a gold and a bronze at this year's Paralympics.
As part of their downtime, the couple recently attended Saturday's college football game between Arkansas Razorbacks football and Ole Miss Rebels. Davis-Woodhall sported a black leather jacket paired with distressed light-wash jeans, while a black baseball cap and black shoes completed her look. In contrast, Hunter opted for a black University of Arkansas Razorbacks t-shirt, a black zip-up hoodie, and black pants, finishing his look with a red and white baseball cap and black sneakers.
Tara Davis-Woodhall was also joined by Christopher Bailey, the 4x400m relay gold medalist from Paris, and Amber Anning, the women's 4x400m and mixed 4x400m relay bronze medalist from Great Britain. In one of the pictures, the Woodhall couple and Bailey proudly displayed their gold medals as well. Sharing the pictures on her Instagram handle, Davis-Woodhall wrote:
"Thankful for you Arkansas."

"I'm blessed to be able to, you know, be in these moments, you know, win Olympic gold. That's really crazy. But I think it's even, you know, more inspiring for myself to become a K-State coach; I feel like I have a lot of knowledge and experience," she said (via 1350 KMAN Podcast).
Following her Paris Olympics exploits and her new position as assistant coach, Davis-Woodhall wrapped up her 2024 season at the Rome Diamond League, where she won the long jump event with a leap of 7.02 meters.
