"It’s not easy"- Hunter Woodhall gives life update amid embarking on a new life with wife Tara Davis-Woodhall as they move to Kansas
Hunter Woodhall shared a glimpse of his new life as he moved to Kansas with his wife Tara Davis-Woodhall after the Olympics and Paralympics in Paris. The Paralympic gold medalist spoke about the hardships of adjusting to a new city amid packed schedules and a fast-paced life.
The couple made the major decision to move to Kansas as their long-time coach Travis Geopfert moved to Kansas to take up a new role as the coach of Track and Field & Cross Country coach at Kansas State University. Moreover, Tara Davis-Woodhall joined Kansas State University as an assistant coach.
Hunter Woodhall has been very busy ever since he concluded his campaign at the Paris Paralympics with a gold medal in the men's 400m T-62 and a bronze medal in the mixed 4x100m relay. He has been a part of many interviews while also making appearances with his wife at major sporting events like the NFL and NASCAR.
Woodhall took to Instagram to share a note with his fans by giving them a life update. Despite facing many struggles, he thanked his family for their unwavering support through hard times.
"Life update: it’s not easy. Been having a tough time recently. With the move, crazy schedules, and life’s pace it’s hard to find a new normal. It’s hard to get back in the swing of things, but we’re getting there," the Paralympic medalist wrote.
"Apart from all this there has been a silver lining. We have the most incredible friends and family in our life that have been getting us through. Life is hard, and it’s okay to not always feel your best. Things will get better, I just gotta keep reminding myself of that," he added.

Hunter Woodhall penned an emotional note after winning his first Paralympic gold medal. The American athlete revealed how he had been persevering for many years to achieve his ultimate goal.
"9 years competing for Majors. This is my first time ever being atop the podium🇺🇸🥇 This is my first time being the reason our anthem plays This is my first time being a Paralympic Champion So many emotions, mainly just grateful and proud to be an American. All of my other shortcomings prepared me for this just trusting the process and time in the process," he wrote.
Furthermore, he urged his fans not to get deterred by failures and to keep on trying to achieve their goals.
