They officially confirmed their relationship through an Instagram post in December 2022.
The couple also trained together for this year's Paris Olympics, where Lyles won the first Olympic gold of his career after winning the 100m finals in a photo finish against Jamaica's Kishane Thompson. He also won the bronze in the 200m event. In contrast, Bromfield represented Jamaica in the 400m event, where she made it to the semi-finals. Following their Olympics exploits, Lyles popped the question on Saturday, October 12, and Bromfield said "yes." They later shared a video of their enchanting engagement on social media.
In a recent Instagram post on their joint account, "noah_junelle," Lyles and Bromfield shared a lighthearted video in which Lyles filmed Bromfield entering the car while showcasing her ring. However, the video revealed that she initially forgot to wear it before putting it on later. Reacting to this, the she said:
"I'm not proud of it; I'm not proud of it. My memory is not good, but with time I'll remember; with time I won't leave my ring no more, Pinky Promise. I won't leave my ring alone, but I promise I try not to leave it."
When asked if she had an advice for her future self, she added:
"Remember to take up your ring in the morning from the bedside, yeah, because your fiancé don't like it; your future husband won't like it, so yeah. But I like my ring."
