"Not doing that again!" - Simone Biles reveals she got botox for her birthday, details her unhappy experience

Simone Biles has revealed that she got Botox done on her 27th birthday. However, she was unhappy with the experience and vowed to never do it again.

The American shared a getting-ready video on social media on Saturday (August 2), which she had filmed on Friday 1 before she took part in the all-around competition.

In the video, Biles disclosed that she got 'baby Botox' done for her 27th birthday. She then explained how one eyebrow would lift on its own while she was at practice. When other gymnasts would point it out to her, she couldn't get it to go back down for nearly 20 seconds at a time.

"I have a funny story for you guys. So for my 27th birthday, I got Botox, like baby Botox. Just right here, like my T-zone. And I did not like it, so I haven't got it again. And mind you, that was back in March. But it's because I would be like standing at practice and then my eyebrow would be slowly going up like this," Biles said on TikTok.
"And then Zoe would be like 'Simone, your eyebrow is doing it again!' and I feel it, but I couldn't get it back down. It would go back down in like 20 seconds and it would randomly do that. And I have like no idea, but now I can do all the facials, so not doing that again!" she added.

Baby Botox is a cosmetic procedure where younger patients are injected with smaller amounts of the drug on their face to smooth lines and wrinkles.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Simone Biles cemented her legacy as the greatest-ever American gymnast and one of the best athletes in the sport.

On Thursday (August 1), Biles claimed her sixth career Olympic gold medal with a 59.131 overall score in the women's gymnastics all-around final. Having won the event at the 2016 Rio Games, she became only the third woman (after Larisa Latynina and Vera Caslavska) to win the all-around gold medal twice, and the first to do it eight years apart.

Earlier on Tuesday, Biles helped Team USA win their fourth Olympic gold in the women’s team event with splendid performances on all four apparatus. In the end, the United States finished with 171.296, 5.802 points ahead of second-placed Italy.

The 27-year-old will next be in action in the vault final on Saturday (August 3), where she remains the leading contender to win the gold medal.
