“One of the most special times of my life” - Jade Carey pens heartfelt note as Simone Biles led Gold Over America Tour concludes
The Simone Biles led ‘Gold Over America' tour has come to a close, and gymnast Jade Carey is emotional over the same. On Tuesday, the Olympic champion shared a heartfelt note about the tour on Instagram, thanking the cast and crew for making the experience ‘special’.
For Carey, 2024 has been an incredible year. She began her season with a dominant performance at the American Classic, where she claimed the all-around title. She followed that up with a gold medal on vault at the Core Hydration Classic.
After several other strong showings in national competitions, the 24-year-old headed to the Paris Olympics, where she helped the USA secure team gold and won a bronze in the vault individual.
Following the games, Carey joined Simone Biles' Gold Over America Tour for its second edition. The tour lasted for just over a month and came to a close on November 3 after 32 shows across the country. Now, upon the conclusion of the GOAT Tour, Carey penned a note about her experience, writing on Instagram:
“Gold Over America Tour 2024. It's hard to say goodbye to this incredible show. This tour has been one of the most special times of my life and I am forever grateful to have had this opportunity. To the amazing people who worked day in and day out to make this show possible, I can't thank you enough. To the cast, thank you for making every single day so special.

Jade Carey channels Elle Woods for Halloween
While Jade Carey was busy on the road during Halloween, she still managed to celebrate the festival in the midst of the Gold Over America Tour.
The Olympic champion dressed up as the character of Elle Woods from the movie Legally Blonde. Carey was spotted sporting an all-pink outfit, complemented with a pink handbag and some black shoes. She shared pictures of her outfit on Halloween, with the caption:
“Thinking of going to law school, #ElleWoods.”
Jade Carey will be returning to the Oregon State University gymnastics team in 2025 to compete in the NCAA. So far in her collegiate career, the gymnast has won a silver on the uneven bars, balance beam, all-around, and floor exercise at the NCAA Championships, as well as a bronze on the balance beam.
