Day 4 of the 2024 Paris Olympics witnessed an electrifying show from American gymnasts, including the legendary Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera, and Jade Carey. Team USA secured six medals on Day 4 in multiple events.

Three individual athletes secured medals on Day 4 of the Paris Olympics, and interestingly, all of them were in swimming events. Regan Smith clinched a silver medal in the women's 100m backstroke after clocking a decent time of 57.66 seconds.
She followed Australia's Kaylee McKeown who finished the race by posting an Olympic record with 57.33 seconds. The third place was also clinched by the American swimmer Katharine Berkoff, who recorded 57.98 seconds.
Robert Finke bagged a silver medal in the men's 800m freestyle by registering a time of 7:38.75. He achieved this victory by finishing the race behind Daniel Wiffin, who clocked an Olympic record of 7:38.19. Gregorio Paltrinieri settled in third place with 7:39.38.
