Paris Olympics 2024 Medal Count Day 6: Updated Gold, Silver & Bronze Medal Tally for USA
Day 6 of the 2024 Paris Olympics witnessed Team USA securing seven medals. Four of which were gold, two were silver, and a bronze medal, was won by Suni Lee.
So far the American squad has gathered 37 medals, including 9 gold, 15 silver, and 13 bronze medals in their collection. The team has earned the most number of medals in swimming with the count reaching 20, which includes four gold, 10 silver, and six bronze medals. Swimming is followed by fencing and gymnastics with four medals in each discipline.

The legendary gymnast Simone Biles clinched her second Olympic gold medal in the women's individual all-around event on Day 6 of the 2024 Paris Olympics. She scored a total of 59.131 points to surpass Brazil's Rebeca Andrade and fellow teammate Suni Lee, who bagged 57.932 and 56.465 points, respectively.

Apart from Suni Lee and Simone Biles, the men's rowing team, including Justin Best, Liam Corrigan, Michael Grady, and Nick Mead, won a gold medal in the men's four-team event by posting 5:49.03, surpassing New Zealand and Great Britain. The next two teams registered 5:49.88 and 5:52.42, respectively.
After securing a silver medal in the 4x100m freestyle earlier, Kate Douglas went on to clinch a gold medal in the 200m breaststroke by registering an American record with 2:19.24. She defeated Tatjana Smith and Tes Schouten, who clocked 2:19.60 and 2:21.05, respectively.
The American women's fencing team, including Jacqueline Dubrovich, Lee Kiefer, Lauren Scruggs, and Maia Weintraub earned the gold medal in the women's foil team event after defeating the Italian squad.
Regan Smith earned the silver medal in the women's 100m backstroke on Day 4 of the Paris Olympics after posting 57.66 seconds. She secured her second victory in Paris by settling in second place in the women's 200m butterfly final.
The American team gathered their 20th medal in the swimming events during the women's 4x200m freestyle relay, Erin Gemmel, Katie Ledecky, Paige Madden, and Claire Weinstein bagged a silver medal.
