Simone Biles shared her collection of Olympic medals from her debut at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games on social media. Her medal collection drew reactions from Allyson Felix, Jordan Chiles' mother Gina Chiles, and Mikaela Shiffrin among others.
At the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Biles was in a class of her own as she won the gold in the women's artistic individual all-around, women's artistic team all-around, vault routine, and the floor exercise. She also claimed a bronze in the women’s balance beam. In Tokyo, the 23-time world champion struggled to make an impact and later withdrew from the global showpiece citing mental health struggles. However, she was a part of Team USA which won a silver medal in the women’s team all-around and won a bronze medal on the balance beam.
At the recently concluded Paris Olympic Games, the seven-time Olympic champion won three gold medals and a silver. She won the gold in the women’s team event before claiming top honors in the women’s all-around individual event. She also won the gold in the vault routine before finishing second in the women’s floor routine. She concluded her campaign after finishing fifth in the women’s balance beam.
