Serena William's husband Alexis Ohanian reacted to Team USA women's 4x100m relay. The team won the gold medal in a tight competition at the ongoing Paris Olympics.
The women's 4x100m final drew great anticipation among American fans especially after the men's team was disqualified due to exchanging the baton out of the permitted zone. The USA's women's relay team comprising Gabby Thomas, Sha'Carri Richardson, Melissa Jefferson, and Twinisha Terry competed for the gold medal at the Paris Olympics.
The race started with Team USA trailing behind and was in fourth place while Gabby Thomas handed over the baton to Sha'Carri Richardson, who was ready to anchor the team to the finish line at the Stade de France.
Richardson then put forward a dominant performance, taking the team from fourth to first position and clinching the gold medal with a lead. Team USA clocked 41.78s, Great Britain took the silver with a time of 41.85s seconds, with Germany taking home the bronze medal with a time of 41.97s.
Alexis Ohanian took to X to react to the incredible victory by replying to a tweet made by Gabby Thomas.

Alexis Ohanian extended a helping hand to a Team USA discuss thrower, Veronica Fraley who was set to compete at the Paris Olympics. Fraley took to X to express that she was facing financial difficulties. She said that her school sent her only 75% of her rent amount, and alleged that the football players were receiving a lot of money.
"I compete in the Olympic Games TOMORROW and can’t even pay my rent 😒 my school only sent about 75% of my rent while they pay football players (who haven’t won anything 😂) enough to buy new cars and houses 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾,"she wrote
Alexis Ohanian came to her rescue right away and replied to her tweet, saying that he will help her out.
"Got you! DM me your $cashtag," he wrote.
Ohanian took to X and shared a screenshot revealing that he had helped Fraley with $7,760. Apart from this, Alexis Ohanian is also working on launching a women's only track and field meet that would pay athletes more than the USATF Diamond League meets.
It was announced that the winner of his upcoming "776 Invitational" meet would receive $60,000, the silver medalists would receive $25,000, and the bronze medalists would receive $10,000.
