Noah Lyles' mother Keisha Caine Bishop visited Saint Lucia after she promised the 200m Olympic champion, Julien Alfred, to visit his home country. Her adorable shoutout for West Indies caught the attention of fans, who lauded her for resolving the dispute between Jamaica and the USA single-handedly.
Earlier this year, Noah Lyles revealed that he had been getting Jamaican camp secrets from his girlfriend, Junelle Bromfield, claiming he 'knows information that other people don't'. Jamaican fans were displeased with Bromfield's actions, holding her accountable for being a 'traitor'.
Following the back-and-forth, Lyles bagged the 100m gold and 200m bronze at the Paris Olympics. In the women's 100m, Julien Alfred of Saint Lucia (a Caribbean country like Jamaica) clinched her maiden Olympic gold and garnered Lyles' mother Keisha Caine Bishop's attention.
