Stephen Nedoroscik and his dance partner Rylee Arnold have advanced to the semifinals of season 33 of Dancing With the Stars (DWTS). It was a special moment for the pair as they accomplished the feat on the same day as DWTS's 500th episode.

In the first part of this week’s episode, Nedoroscik and Arnold performed a Viennese waltz as they paid tribute to Charli D’Amelio and Mark’s iconic dance from season 31 of DWTS. Their dance routine earned them a total of 29 out of 30, which was also their highest total in the show. In the second part of the episode, which was challenging as the instant theme was announced a few minutes before their display, they performed the jive and earned a score of 25 out of 30.

After all the dance routines, Nedoroscik and Arnold secured their spot in the competition’s semifinals as the second couple to advance to the next stage. The news delighted their fans who have been rooting for the pair and supporting them with votes to help keep the duo ahead in the competition. As they reached the semifinals, one of their fans expressed their excitement after they reached the semis, writing on X:

One fan commented that this felt like a redemption arc for Rylee Arnold as she was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the 2023 season with her partner, Harry Jowsey. They wrote:
