Suni Lee reacts to historic men's gymnastics medal for Team USA at 2024 Paris Olympics
Suni Lee has applauded Team USA's men's gymnastics team after they clinched a medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. It's the first medal the men have won at the Games since the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
On Monday, July 29 evening at Bercy Arena, Team USA defeated Great Britain in the final standings by 2.266 points to clinch the bronze medal. Japan won the gold with 259.594, finishing 0.532 points ahead of China, who settled for the silver. Great Britain and Ukraine took fourth and fifth places, respectively.
Suni Lee, who is competing on the women's gymnastics team at the Paris Olympics 2024, lauded the men's team for their historic achievement. She wrote:

Frederick Richard, Brody Malone, Asher Hong, and Paul Juda were chasing an elusive medal at the Paris Olympics and managed to finish the day with the bronze around their necks.
Richard, who got the loudest cheers in the arena, got the day doing for Team USA. He scored 14.022 on the rings, with a 5.600 in difficulty and 8.433 in execution. Malone scored 14.033 on the rings, with 5.900 in difficulty and 8.266 in execution. Asher Hong then earned 14.533 on his rings routine, with a 5.200 in difficulty and 9.333 in execution.
Juda then stuck his landing off the vault and scored 14.666 (5.200 in difficulty and 9.466 in execution). Malone, who took a -0.3 penalty in the qualification round, redeemed himself by scoring 14.533, with a 5.200 in difficulty and 9.333 in execution.
Richard's strong effort on the parallel bars saw him earn 14.566, 6.200 in difficulty, and 8.366 in execution. Hong was just as good as his teammate, earning a score of 14.400 (6.000 in difficulty and 8.400 in execution). Hong executed his parallel bars routine as best as he could and earned a score of 14.400 (6.000 in difficulty and 8.400 in execution).
Juda then kicked off Rotation 4 with a 13.366 effort on the horizontal bar, with a 5.100 in difficulty and 8.266 in execution. Immediately after that, Richard earned 14.822, 6.400 in difficulty, and 8.433 in execution.
Malone, who fell off the horizontal bar twice during the qualification round, scored 14.16, 5.800 in difficulty, and 8.366 in execution. Juda did little wrong on the floor exercise and scored 14.200, 5.800 in difficulty, and 8.400 in execution.
Hong, who was unhappy with his floor routine, scored 14.133 ç 6.200 in difficulty, 8.033 in execution, and a penalty of -0.1.
