Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall's Relationship Timeline: Everything about the couple competing at the Paris Olympics 2024

Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall are an American athlete couple who will represent the nation at the Paris Olympic Games 2024 and Paris Paralympic Games 2024, respectively. While Tara will compete in the women's long jump at the 2024 Olympics, Hunter will be vying for gold in the men's 400m and 100m at the 2024 Paralympics.

The now 25-year-old couple met in 2017 for the first time while attending an indoor track meet in Pocatello, Idaho, during high school. Following their first meeting, Tara Davis initiated a conversation by sending a message to Woodhall. After a flurry of messages, they met again at another track meet.

As Davis was studying at the University of Georgia and Hunter at the University of Arkansas, they navigated a long-distance relationship. In a YouTube video in 2018, the couple opened up about their mutual admiration for each other.

After dating for several years, in September 2021 Woodhall popped the question to Davis, and the couple got engaged. The former shared a picture from the engagement and wrote a message of love and gratitude.

"You make me a better person and I can’t imagine a life without you," he wrote. "Thank you for trusting, supporting, and loving me the last 5 years. here’s to the rest of our lives."

A year after being engaged and having competed at the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics 2020, respectively, the American athletes exchanged their wedding vows at D’Vine Grace Vineyard in McKinney, Texas on October 16, 2022. Davis-Woodhall posted a picture of their wedding on social media and wrote,

"The Woodhall’s 10.16.2022."
