Titmus trains at a secondary school in western Brisbane, where high-performance athletes and school-aged swimmers work side by side. "I train out of a high school, it's incredible that a high-performance program with athletes that are on the national team, that are winning an Olympic games train out of a secondary school in western Brisbane, and we have the younger swimmers train next to us every day, and they look up to us, and I think it's really important for them to see that we are training just like them," she said." "As a whole, I'm in a better position than three years ago as an older athlete. I'm being honest and saying that I think I've prepared the best I ever have for a swim meet. So more than anything, I'm just excited to see what I'm capable of at the end of the day," the Aussie said, as quoted by Times of India.
Titmus enjoyed an impressive outing at the Paris Olympics, as she won four medals. The Aussie won the 400m freestyle event while clinching silvers at the 800m and 200m freestyle competitions. She was also part of the team that won the 4x200m freestyle relay.
