Two years later, at the 2023 World Athletics Championships, Richardson showed her dominance in the women's 100m by clocking a spectacular time of 10.65 seconds to surpass the Jamaican sensational sprinting duo Shericka Jackson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. With the victory, she recorded the fifth-fastest time of women's 100m of all time.
Moreover, she also bagged a bronze medal in the 200m race after clocking 21.92 seconds and contributed to the team's victory in the women's 4x100m relay race by running the anchor leg.
Sha'Carri Richardson earned her spot to compete in the 100m at the Paris Olympics by topping the event with 10.71 seconds during the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials. Her journey from facing a ban for one Olympics to clinching a silver in the next is a tale to tell.
