WATCH: Gabby Thomas, Tia Jones, Tamara Clark and fellow training partners join together to celebrate potluck during holiday season
Gabby Thomas, Tia Jones, Tamara Clark, and their fellow training partners recently came together over a potluck during the holiday season. The athletes who belonged to the Buford Bailey Track Club, led by Olympic and World Championships medalist Tonja Buford-Bailey, were a part of the gathering.
Jones, a former world record holder in the 60m hurdles, shared glimpses of the gathering on Instagram. She was impressed with Thomas' food plating skills, as the two-time Olympian had prepared a salad for the occasion. Complimenting Thomas’ dish, she captioned the video:
“Gabby’s dish 🥰 So cute! @gabbythomas”
Meanwhile, Tamara Clark made a rotel dip for the gathering. Following this, Jones humorously captioned the post, writing that a Black event wouldn’t be complete without the cheesy, creamy dip:
“You know it’s not a black event if it’s not any rotel dip”
In addition to Thomas and Clark, Jessica Wright, Bianca Stubler, and Cambrea Nichole also brought dishes to the gathering. Catch a glimpse of the dishes here:
Additionally, coach Buford-Bailey presented gifts to the athletes, which was also shared by Jones in her story.
