WATCH: Stephen Nedoroscik does pommel horse routine on the floor of Dancing with the stars as he pays tribute to men's gymnastics
Stephen Nedoroscik is making his presence felt at the 33rd season of the dance reality show 'Dancing with the Stars'. The 25-year-old made a unique tribute to men's gymnastics with his pommel horse routine at the 'Dancing with the Stars'.
Nedoroscik opened his performance with a pommel horse routine before breaking into a brilliant Argentine tango on the song 'Seven Nation Army' alongside his dancing partner Rylee Arnold.
The official page of USA Gymnastics praised his performance, as they shared a glimpse of his performance on their X account [formerly Twitter] with the following caption:
"Stephen. DID. THAT. 33/40 — constantly improving AND doing it for men’s gymnastics!"
USA Gymnastics further praised his performance in another post on their X account, where they wrote,
"Just one of us can do it for all of us.' Get ready to see @GymnastSteve rock the Pommel Horse AND the dance floor! Tune in now on ABC and remember to vote!"
With his latest performance, Stephen Nedoroscik has virtually sealed his berth for the next round, since his score was the second highest amongst all the participants. The two-time Olympic medalist will now look forward to the Disney-themed night, where each couple would perform to an unknown dance format on a song from a Disney movie.
Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold performed on pommel horse during practice session
Interestingly, Stephen Nedoroscik had already given a teaser of his upcoming performance a couple of days ago on his Instagram account. Months after the Paris Olympics, the 25-year-old American gymnast performed on the pommel horse.
Nedoroscik performed a Busnari move on the pommel horse routine and uploaded a video of the same on his Instagram account. He wrote,
"Busnari in the ballroom‼️‼️ Surprised myself by making one cuz I haven’t trained this skill since May 😅!! Definitely not part of the dance routine, but man it feels nice to swing some horse 🙌🏻🙌🏻"
Nedoroscik's dancing partner Rylee Arnold was inspired by his moves, and she made her pommel horse debut on Instagram. The 19-year-old choreographer uploaded a video of the same on her Instagram story, with the following caption:
"Had my pommel horse debut today @dancingwiththestars"
Stephen Nedoroscik was initially scheduled to join Olympic champion Simone Biles' second season of the 'Gold over America Tour'. However, during the Paris Olympics, he got a call from 'Dancing with the Stars'. Despite not being very proficient in dancing, the double medalist from the Paris Olympics couldn't refuse the offer, and the rest, as they say, is history.
