Tara Davis-Woodhall recently gave a sneak peek at her Halloween costume with her husband, Hunter Woodhall. She shared a video of the couple dressed as a princess and a frog.
The duo are recently is in their off-season after concluding their Paris Olympics campaign with their first Olympic gold medals. Following this, they also moved to Kansas as the long-jump athlete accepted the role of assistant coach for the Kansas State University track and field team.
Days after this, the couple shared a video on Instagram flaunting their Halloween costume where Tara Davis-Woodhall was wearing a beautiful sea-green princess costume, representing princess Tiana, and her husband wore a frog costume. The post's caption read:
"Princess Tiana and her frog."
The American long-jump athlete had a victorious experience at the Paris Olympics as she took a leap of 7.1m in the long-jump event to stand atop the podium and clinch the first Olympic gold medal of her life. She trounced the defending champion, Malaika Mihambo, who claimed second place in the event.
On the other hand, Hunter Woodhall also won the very first Olympic gold medal of his career after winning the 400m T62 event. He clocked 46.36s to stand atop the podium and also competed in the 100m T64 event; however, he couldn't attain a podium-finish in it.
Tara Davis-Woodhall's husband Hunter Woodhall opened up about their recent struggles
Tara Davis-Woodhall and her husband, Hunter Woodhall, recently shifted to Kansas City from Arkansas as Davis-Woodhall took the job of assistant coach of the track and field cross country at the Kansas State University, and their coach, Travis Geopfert, also took the new role of a coach at the same university.
Following this change, Woodhall opened up about the challenges they are facing and revealed that it has been easy for the couple after shifting to a new place. Along with this, he also extended gratitude toward his family for supporting them during these difficult times. He shared a picture of himself on Instagram and added a note in the caption that read:
"Life update: it’s not easy. Been having a tough time recently. With the move, crazy schedules, and life’s pace it’s hard to find a new normal. It’s hard to get back in the swing of things, but we’re getting there," Woodhall wrote.
He added:
"Apart from all this there has been a silver lining. We have the most incredible friends and family in our life that have been getting us through. Life is hard, and it’s okay to not always feel your best. Things will get better, I just gotta keep reminding myself of that."
Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall have been with each other since 2017, and after experiencing long-distance during their college days, the couple tied their knots with each other in October 2022 at D'Vine Grace Vineyard in McKinney, Texas.
