Gabby Thomas expressed her joy after returning from the recently concluded 2024 Paris Olympics. Thomas enjoyed a successful run at the Paris Games, clinching three gold medals.
The 27-year-old sprinter clinched her first gold medal in the women's 200m after listing a stunning time of 21.83 seconds. She defeated the 100m champion Julien Alfred and her fellow teammate Brittany Brown, who posted 22.08 seconds and 22.20 seconds, respectively. Thomas' prestigious feat became more significant as she transformed her 2020 Tokyo Olympics bronze into gold at the quadrennial event's latest edition.
Thoams was invited to the Today Show as a guest after her glorious feat. She expressed her thrill while reflecting on her time on the show before qualifying for the recent Games.
"What a homecoming," she wrote. "I remember coming on @todayshow right before qualifying for the Olympics- today I got to return with 3 gold medals."
Further, the Olympic medalist expressed her gratitude towards the fans and referred to her journey as "full circle".

Gabby Thomas recently revealed the process of her mental training that helped her achieve three gold medals at the Paris Olympics 2024.
In an interview with CBS Mornings, Thomas emphasized self-talk and consistent visualization. She stated that she affirmed the victory every day by repeatedly writing her goals while she was in Paris.
"I'm building my self-talk," she said. "I'm building my confidence in that moment. I'm telling myself that I'm already the Olympic champion."
"I wrote down over and over every morning that I was in Paris, that I will be the Olympic champion in my notes app over and over. And I envisioned the race all day, every day, imagining myself winning and crossing the line in front," she added.
Apart from her individual glory, Thomas also contributed to the American squad's victory in 4x100m and 4x400m relay races. She ran the incredible third legs of 10.25 seconds and 49.30 seconds in 4x100m and 4x400m relay races, respectively.
