What is the Gold Over America Tour? Everything to know about Simone Biles' nationwide G.O.A.T event
Simone Biles is back in action after winning four medals at the Paris Olympics 2024, albeit in a slightly different role as she headlines the second edition of the Gold Over America Tour. The eleven-time Olympic medalist led the first edition of the show in 2021 after the conclusion of the Tokyo Olympics.
The show is known as G.O.A.T in short and can be best described as a pop-concert-style showcase of gymnastics skills and athletics. It was launched after the Tokyo Olympics as a celebration of powerful female athletes, and in its first edition, the show is reported to have earned $19 million in revenue.
Following the initial success, the tour was announced again following the 2024 Olympics with the first show taking place in Oceanside, California on September 16. The choreography for this year's tour is being led by UCLA gymnastics coach Valorie Kondos Field with both male and female gymnasts taking part.
Simone Biles will be joined by Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Joscelyn Roberson, and Hezly Rivera for the 2024 edition of the tour. Brody Malone, Paul Juda, Fred Richard, Shane Wiskus, and Yul Moldauer are the male gymnasts for the 2024 Gold Over America Tour.

Simone Biles is arguably the greatest gymnast of all time. The 27-year-old has not only transcended the limits of the sport but has also changed the way athletes look at sports by spreading awareness about mental health issues.
With her Gold Over America Tour, she has similar aspirations of building the confidence of the next generation of athletes.
“I’m so honored and excited to welcome these incredible and courageous athletes to the tour for an amazing and unforgettable journey. This tour is not only about amazing performances, but connecting with communities and building up the confidence of the next generation of athletes. We… can’t wait to take a victory lap around the U.S. and celebrate with all the fans this fall,” she said (via Olympics.com).
Biles' 2024 gymnastics season has already ended, and following the conclusion of the Gold Over America Tour in November, the 27-year-old will hope to spend some quality time away before starting the preparations for the 2025 World Championships.
