Who are the gymnastics announcers for NBC at Paris Olympics 2024? All about the broadcaster's lineup
NBC recently announced the list of broadcasters for gymnastics at Paris Olympics 2024. These include four Olympic medal-winning former gymnasts in Laurie Hernandez, Samantha Peszek. Tim Daggett and Justin Spring.
NBC commentator Terry Gannon will be the play-by-play commentator, while former gymnasts Samantha Peszek and Tim Daggett are the analysts alongside him. Peszek was part of the United States team that won silver at Beijjing 2008 while Daggett was part of the team that won gold at the 1984 Summer Games in Los Angeles. That year, he also won bronze in the pommel horse event.
Rich Lerner is the other play-by-play commentator and he will be joined by analysts Laurie Hernandez and Justin Spring, both of whom were Olympic medalists during their respective careers. Hernandez won gold with the rest of Team USA at Rio 2016 while also clinching silver in balance beam. Spring was part of the team that won bronze at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

USA qualify for the women's team final at Paris Olympics 2024
The United States became the first nation to qualify for the final of the women's gymnastics team event.
The Americans currently have a total score of 172.296, accumulating scores of 44.799, 43.565, 42.366, and 41.566 in vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise respectively. Italy are currently second with 166.861 while China are just behind them in third position, securing a score of 166.628.
Simone Biles is currently first in the all-around event with a total score of 59.566 to her name after Subdivision 2. Tokyo 2020 champion Sunisa Lee is second at 56.132 while Jordan Chiles is third at 56.065.
Biles, Jade Carey and Chiles are currently the top three in the vault event with scores of 15.300, 14.433 and 14.216 respectively. Sunisa Lee is the best-performing American in the uneven bars event at Paris Olympics 2024 after Subdivision 2, securing a score of 14.866.
Simone Biles is currently eighth in the discipline at 14.433 while Jordan Chiles has accumulated a score of 14.266 and sits at tenth. Hezly Rivera is 13th with a score of 13.900. Biles is currently second in balance beam with a score of 14.733 to her name while Sunisa Lee is third. They are currently trailing China's Zhou Yaqin, who has scored 14.866 so far.
Simone Biles currently leads in floor exercise, scoring 14.600 while Jordan Chiles is right behind her at 13.866.
