20-year-old Korbin Albert has been selected to represent the United States Women's national team in the upcoming edition of the Paris Olympics 2024. She was selected to represent the U.S. women's soccer team by Emma Hayes in her maiden Olympic Games.
Korbin Albert started her youth career with Eclipse Select Soccer Club and represented the club between 2014 and 2021. In her college career, she represented the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and scored 28 goals in 44 appearances.
In 2021, she was part of the reserve team of the Chicago Red Stars and later next year she played for the Cleveland Ambassadors. Korbin scored three goals each for both clubs before making a move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
The 20-year-old footballer joined PSG in 2023 and has scored a goal from 24 appearances for the women's French top-tier league. Albert scored her only goal with PSG in a Women's UEFA Champions League encounter against AS Roma on December 20, 2023.
The young midfielder has represented the youth national teams, including United States Under-15, United States Under-17, and United States Under-20. She has also made 11 appearances for the U.S. senior women's team, since making her debut in 2023.

The 20-year-old footballer landed herself in trouble when she reposted a TikTok video earlier this year. According to The Athletic, the video spoke about being "gay and transgender" is wrong.
According to reports, Korbin Albert also liked a meme on social media, which was celebrating former United States player Megan Rapinoe’s injury in her final match.
Rapinoe called out Korbin Albert for her anti-LGBTQ comments and the latter issued her apology for liking and re-sharing "offensive, insensitive, and hurtful" posts on social media.
Several players, including the likes of Captain Alex Morgan, Christine Press, and Lindsey Horan were unhappy with Korbin Albert's actions on social media.
The young midfielder received boos from fans when she took the field against South Africa earlier this month. Moreover, she also faced backlash for being selected in the United States soccer team for the Olympics.
