Quarterfinals - August 6 and August 7
Quarterfinal 1: Winner of the RO16 match between Brazil and Japan vs Tina Graudina and Anastasija Samoilova (Latvia). The winner qualifies for the first semifinals.
Quarterfinal 2: Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho del Solar (Australia) vs Esmee Bobner and Zoe Verge-Depre (Switzerland). The winner qualifies for the first semifinals.
Quarterfinal 3: Sara Hughes and Kelly Cheng (United States of America) vs Nina Brunner and Tanja Huberli (Switzerland). The winner qualifies for the second semifinals.
Quarterfinal 4: Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno (Spain) vs Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson (Canada). The winner qualifies for the second semifinals.

Can the USA clinch a medal in the Women's Beach Volleyball event at the Paris Olympics 2024?
Considering the form Sara Hughes and Kelly Cheng have shown at the Paris Olympics 2024, the United States will be one of the favorites going into the quarterfinal stages of Women's Beach Volleyball at the Games. The duo dropped just a single set in Paris en route to the last eight.
In their RO16 match, Hughes and Cheng defeated Italy's Valentina Gottardi and Marta Menegatti by a scoreline of 2-1 on Monday (August 5) to advance to the quarterfinals.
The US duo got off a flying start with a 21-18 win over the Italians but Gottardi and Menegatti came back strongly in the second set with a 21-17 win to set up a decisive third set. Hughes and Cheng closed out the win after taking the final set 15-12.
The duo will next face a stern challenge in Switzerland's Nina Brunner and Tanja Huberli who have clinched all their wins in the Women's Beach Volleyball event at the Paris Olympics by a 2-0 margin.
