Inspired by the book series written by Julia Quinn, the story mostly follows the Bridgerton family, consisting of eight siblings and their mother, as they navigate the high society of London.

This affair brings some depth to the hard-as-nail figure of Lady Danbury by outlining the sacrifices she had to make and the vulnerabilities she had nursed.
