Bad Sisters season 1 ended in September 2022 with Eva Garvey's abusive husband, John Paul, suddenly dying under mysterious circumstances. It was later revealed through Eva’s flashbacks that she and her other sisters, Ursula, Bibi, and Becka, all collectively hated John Paul and secretly plotted to murder him.

After his death, a life insurance agent starts suspecting that all the women may have something to do with the crime. Apple TV has released a trailer and synopsis for season 2. The new season will consist of eight episodes in which past truths seem to resurface.

The sisters are thrust back into the spotlight as suspicions start growing, lies are told, and secrets are revealed, forcing the sisters to reckon with who they can trust now.

The new trailer for the black comedy opens with the Garvey sisters picking up the pieces after the “accidental death” of Grace’s abusive husband, John Paul. Grace has moved on from the tragedy and is now preparing to get married to a new man named Ian, played by Owen McDonnell.

The family does not seem to mourn Paul's loss, as Ursula insists that the world is better without him. However, not everyone thinks the same, especially a new character played by Killing Eve’s Fiona Shaw, who seems intent on bringing the Garvey girls to justice.

In the trailer, viewers even see her ominously whispering to Grace when she sees her at church that she knows what the sisters have done. To make matters worse, a dead body in a suitcase has floated to the surface, and the cops are now asking questions that may put the Garvey girls at risk.
