Lunchly vs Lunchables: Exploring how MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI's business venture is different

Three of YouTube's biggest names — Jimmy "MrBeast" (315 million subscribers), JJ "KSI" (24 million subscribers), and Logan Paul (23 million subscribers) — have joined hands over a business venture. The trio has collectively launched Lunchly, a grab-and-go food line company. The announcement was made on September 16, 2024, via their respective social media platforms.

Essentially, Lunchly offers pre-packaged meals, similar to that of Lunchables, a three-decade-old food and snacks brand manufactured by Kraft Heinz. They are primarily distributed in the United States.

How does MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI's Lunchly compare to Lunchables?

MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI are no strangers to entrepreneurial ventures. MrBeast owns a snack and chocolate brand company called Feastables, while Logan and KSI are part-owners of a hydration drink company known as PRIME.

On September 16, 2024, the trio announced the launch of Lunchly. So far, they have introduced three different variants of their meal boxes. Here are the three available variants:

  1. Turkey Stack 'Ems
  2. The Pizza
  3. Fiesta Nachos

Lunchables currently offers a wide range of variants with differing prices. For example, its Turkey and Cheddar Cheese Sub Sandwich (15 oz box) and Ham and American Sub Sandwich (15 oz box) are priced at approximately $4.32 in online stores.

In comparison, all three variants are currently priced at $3.99 by Lunchly, making it a more affordable option than Lunchables.

Lunchly is now available in retail stores and supermarkets across the US.

Lunchly vs Lunchables - Nutritional comparison

Lunchly is being marketed as a "better" alternative to the currently dominant Lunchables in the market.

The official website of Lunchly provides a brief comparison of the nutritional values between its meal boxes and Lunchables'.

Compared to Lunchables, the Turkey Stack 'Ems apparently has 80 fewer calories, 345 mg more electrolytes, and 14 gm less sugar. The Pizza has 30 fewer calories, 345 mg more electrolytes, and 8 gm less sugar, while the Fiesta Nachos has 90 fewer calories, 345 mg more electrolytes and 12 gm less sugar.

All three Lunchly boxes will include a PRIME hydration drink and a Feastables chocolate bar, along with one of the three food variants — pizza, nachos, or a turkey sandwich.

This isn't the only business venture the owners are involved in. KSI, for instance, co-owns a food and beverage company with The Sidemen called Sides, as well as a vodka brand named XIX Vodka. MrBeast previously operated a cloud kitchen service called Beast Burgers, though it is now defunct.
