Asmongold shares before and after pictures of his kitchen sink after vowing to clean his house

Twitch streamer Zack "Asmongold" recently took to X to share before and after pictures of his kitchen sink with his audience. This comes just a few days after he announced that he would focus on cleaning his house as "penance" following his Twitch ban. To those unaware, Asmongold was banned from the Amazon-backed platform after making controversial remarks about Palestinians amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

He has since been condemned by netizens and prominent streamers alike and has stepped away from his leadership positions across organizations.

Asmongold is known to be an outspoken personality on Twitch, often giving his views on the ongoing drama on the internet, especially in the realm of gaming. However, the streamer's recent political comments caused him to receive much flak from Twitch and his One True King (OTK) colleagues, including the latter's co-founder, Tips Out.

The incident happened during his broadcast on October 14, 2024, which was hosted through his alternate account - zackrawrr. While discussing the ongoing conflict in Gaza, Asmongold remarked that he did not care about the genocide taking place as he believed that "they" are "terrible people". He had said:

"...I am not going to cry a f**king river when people who have genocide that's baked into their laws are getting genocided."

He has since apologized for his comments. However, a segment of a recent Reddit post made by him, which he titled "Why apologize?", was interpreted by some as him "backtracking" on his original apology.

Apart from claiming to start cleaning his house, he also laid out his other plans for the coming days in a YouTube video titled My Plans Moving Forward. In it, he stated that he would now attempt to get his "mind under control" and in the meanwhile, forgo his responsibilities at OTK and StarForge Systems.
