"Couldn't care less": Nickmercs announces he will not play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
FaZe Clan co-owner and Kick streamer Nick "Nickmercs" stated during a recent broadcast that he would not play Black Ops 6, the latest addition to the Call of Duty franchise. One of the reasons he cited was that he had a relatively unsatisfactory experience playing the game's beta version.
Further, Nickmercs revealed that this would make it the "first year in a long time" when he would not be trying out the latest Call of Duty title. He said:
"I couldn't give a f**k about that new Call of Duty, bro. I couldn't care anyless about that new f**king COD, bro. I deada** think this is first year in a long time where I'm not going to play Call of Duty. No cap. It's all y'all, man. Have fun."
When a viewer seemingly challenged his claims, Nickmercs replied:
"Until you do? Okay. Okay. Or maybe I don't. We'll see."
"Feels like the same old sh**": Nickmercs reveals reason for not playing Black Ops 6
Nickmercs is known to be a popular FPS streamer and even had his own Operator skin in Call of Duty Modern Warfare III. However, this skin was eventually removed from the game after Nickmercs made controversial comments about the LGBTQ community.
Thus, it is no surprise that the streamer talked about having a "bad taste in his mouth" regarding the game's creators. He also claimed that Call of Duty "in general" was repetitive.
These formed major reasons for him not to pursue Black Ops 6 this year, despite being a fan of the Omni-movement introduced in the newest title. He explained:
"It's just Call of Duty in general, bro. I already have a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to the people... and like, it always kind of feels like the same old sh**. I played the beta, I didn't hate it. I wasn't in love with it. I definitely liked it, but I wasn't in love with it."
In other news, Nickmercs had also commented upon Dr DisRespect's comeback statement, which came after a hiatus triggered by his Whisper messaging controversy.
Nickmercs called out the Doc on his focus on the "legality" of the matter. He stated that legality was not a concern for him since Dr DisRrespect had "messaged a minor" in a manner that was "inappropriate".
