Fousey provides health update after supposedly rupturing his kidney while in Australia
Kick streamer Yousef "Fousey" has provided an update to his fans on X after a recent health scare in Australia. The streamer had what he believed to be a ruptured kidney. During his Kick broadcast, he could be heard explaining his symptoms to Suzy, his mental health coach.
The controversial streamer revealed to her that he had been experiencing pain for a week. However, matters turned worse after he felt something "exploded" on the left side of his abdomen, causing him to arrive at his current assumption that it was a kidney rupture.
In the post on X, he stated that the hospital had decided to keep him back for a CT scan due to "irregularities" found during testing:
"UPDATE: HOUR 4/5 AT THE HOSPITAL. They found some irregularities in my urine sample, and since it’s 4:30 AM, they’re keeping me here until 9 AM for a CT scan. Thank you to everyone sending prayers and good vibes—GOD IS GOOD! Too blessed to be stressed! We keep it moving no matter what. G8!"
Fousey provides health update after visiting hospital due to a "ruptured kidney" during broadcast
Prior to this update, Fousey had decided to visit the hospital while livestreaming after the pain became too unbearable. A clip of this hospital visit from his Kick broadcast has since been uploaded to X by DramaAlert.
The clip shows the streamer hunched over in pain on the floor of the hospital while talking to Suzy over the phone. Further, the streamer seemed to become agitated at her apparently pushing the idea of him committing himself into a "psych ward".
Eventually, he laid down on the hospital floor while claiming that the pain was seemingly too severe for him to even lay down. Fousey then seemingly broke down in tears.
Fousey often finds himself in trouble, with him recently going missing for some hours, as reported by his team. The streamer had even missed a flight to Atlanta in this time frame. The flight was for him to travel to the DreamHack gaming event. Eventually, the alarm was called off after he texted his manager back, asking for "space".
