"I don't begrudge your judgment of me" - Cody Ko breaks silence months after serious allegations against him surfaced
Cody Michael Kolodziejzyk, better known as "Cody Ko," has addressed the online community months after serious allegations against him surfaced. In July 2024, YouTuber D'Angelo Wallace discussed Tana Mongeau's past relationship with Cody Ko. Alleging that Cody "committed a crime" against Tana when she was a minor, D'Angelo Wallace said:
"To be clear - 17 is under the age of consent in many states, including Florida, where Playlist Live used to take place. So this means that Tana Mongeau is accusing you of statutory rape, and she is not trying to hide that. Nothing would make this situation better, but plenty of things make it worse. Like the fact that she was a fan of yours at the time, adding an additional layer to the power dynamic you would have had over her."
On top of this, on the 88th episode of her Cancelled with Tana Mongeau & Brooke Schofield podcast, Tana Mongeau alleged that Cody Ko "hooked up" with her when she was 17 years old:
"I hooked up with Cody Ko when I was 17 and he was 25. Yeah, it happened! And I think that... first of all, it's really... I'm trying to think about it from a perspective of, like, a younger sister or someone that I really care about."
On December 23, 2024, Cody Ko posted a video titled 34 miles on his alternate YouTube channel, Cody Trains. At the end of the vlog, the 34-year-old commented on people having their opinions about him "potentially changed over the last few months," saying:
"Obviously, I understand I've been offline for months. (I) haven't made videos for, you know, that whole time. And I also understand if your opinion of me has potentially changed over the last few months. You know, I spent the first half of my career criticizing people and judging people online. So, you know, I don't begrudge your judgment of me by any means."

Cody Ko elaborates on his future months after allegations against him surface
As the video continued, Cody Ko shed light on what he plans on doing for his future, saying that he would "try to be the best person" for himself and his family:
"Right now, moving forward is just try to be the best person I can be for myself and for my family, and just try to continue putting the best s**t out there that I can. So, that's what I'm going to do. And, if you stick around to watch it, I very much appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Truly. And so, that's the plan."
As of this writing, Tana Mongeau has not commented on Cody Ko's statement in his most recent vlog.
