"I got AMP's entire net worth" - xQc fires back at Kai Cenat after later challenged him to go "watch for watch"
Twitch and Kick streamer Felix "xQc" has responded to fellow streamer Kai Cenat's recent comments about him. For context, xQc insinuated that Cenat's success is due to Kick streamer Adin Ross' blueprint of having celebrities in his streams. In response, Cenat went off at Felix, calling out the latter for taking "jabs" at him:
"I’ve always shown Felix support, I’ve always been cool, collected, and never talked sh*t but when these little jabs get in there and since I’m not saying anything, ni**as feel free that they can make even more jabs."
Cenat even mocked Felix for showing off his monetary worth in front of others. He added that he could do the same, stating:
"Don’t try that watch flexing sh*t with me, ’cause we can do whatever you wanna do. Watch for watch, house for house, M for M."
xQc reacted to the clip of Cenat talking about him. He mockingly suggested that his net worth is more than the combined net worth of AMP (Cenat's content-creating group). He quipped:
"Brother, you do not want to go band for band. Both hands in the air, I got AMP’s entire net worth in one USB stick in some safety deposit box somewhere buddy. We are not gonna go there.”
What did xQc say about Kai Cenat?
Twitch streamers xQc and Kai Cenat have been friends online and have collaborated a few times. However, following a few recent verbal exchanges, their relationship has experienced some tension.
For context, xQc seemed to take a jab at Kai Cenat for gaining popularity by inviting celebrities onto his streams. He mentioned that this strategy was a blueprint created by Adin Ross:
"I understand that Kai perfected this. But Adin (Ross) genuinely added this new wave of high tier collab, branch to a more underseen market and integration of celebrities into live streaming, which is now the current blueprint for people when they make it."
Kai Cenat has also responded, explaining that he only reacted after xQc made multiple negative comments about him, calling him out for saying "sh*t" on several occasions.
It's unclear which specific clips Kai Cenat was referring to, but it's possible he was upset by xQc's post in November 2024 where he mockingly stated that he didn’t beg for subs, which was why he wasn’t nominated for any awards. Some interpreted this as a subtle dig at Cenat, who was hosting a subathon at the time.
