"I need you off set": MrBeast kicks FaZe Banks out of the $100K FaZe Clan challenge set, accusing him of clip-farming
On December 17, 2024, Jimmy "MrBeast" teamed up with FaZe Clan for a challenge where members of the esports organization competed for a $100K prize. During the Twitch stream, FaZe Banks was kicked off the set for allegedly clip-farming. For those unfamiliar with the term, clip-farming refers to the act of intentionally doing something absurd or controversial on camera to go viral.
At one point during the FaZe Clan challenge, FaZe Banks appeared to disrupt the event. In response, MrBeast addressed the camera and accused him of clip-farming.
"He's clip-farming!"
The YouTube star then 'kicked FaZe Banks off the set', and his remark was captured on camera:
"Get out of here. Don't worry, I kicked him off the set. [To Banks] I need you off set."
What led MrBeast to kick FaZe Banks out of the FaZe Clan challenge set?
The FaZe Clan $100K challenge featured six members of the organization, and each one was partnered with a fan or viewer. Once on set, each contestant introduced their partner, but the moment was interrupted when FaZe Banks knocked some food out of Jasontheween’s hands.
The latter was introducing his partner, Jasper, and explaining how the prize money would allow him to visit his family. However, he was cut off mid-sentence:
"This is Jasper. He's going to use the money to visit his family. He deserves this—"
FaZe Banks knocked the food out of Jasontheween’s hands and said:
"Get the f**k out of here!"

MrBeast seemed visibly frustrated as the others laughed at the chaos. Although FaZe Banks was initially kicked off the set, it’s worth noting that he returned to engage in banter with the other members shortly after.
MrBeast has been heavily promoting Beast Games, which will be released on Prime Video on December 19, 2024. The $100K FaZe Clan challenge was part of this promotion, and the show's logo was displayed prominently throughout the set.
Described as the "biggest game show in the world," Beast Games has already broken several records — despite facing some controversies. Its first episode will be free to watch on Twitch and Prime Video, and the 10-episode reality competition series will last till February 2025.
