"Imagine having an older brother like him" - Fans react as KSI seemingly criticizes Deji during recent Sidemen Sunday
A video featuring British YouTubers JJ "KSI" and Deji went viral on X on January 9, 2025. The clip in question was originally taken from the latest Sidemen Sunday video, SIDEMEN SURVIVE THE 7 WONDERS OF THE WORLD. At the one hour and 33-minute mark, the Olatunji brothers shared a one-on-one conversation at the dinner table.
In the video, KSI said:
"This is the first time in a very long time that you have actually told me your feelings rather than trying to pretend to be a nice guy."
Deji appeared unimpressed by this remark and walked away from the dinner table while saying:
"I don't pretend. That, you see, the way you phrase that. I don't pretend to be a nice guy. I'm not a c*nt. Simple as that. I'm off man."
Some fans were critical of KSI's behavior. However, it's worth noting that the two are not in any beef. The Olatunji brothers continued to bond throughout the rest of the video.
Nonetheless, here are some reactions to the clip:
"Imagine having an older brother like him," @Lynx_Fawx said.
"I genuinely don't understand how can people like a person so egotistical and self centered like KSI," @TeoVard wrote.
"Twitter resident discovers real families can have problems and aren't perfect," @cameron_0331 posted.
"Just a small sibling arguement. They good," said @lfclucas opined.
"Both in the wrong. JJ clearly didn’t mean it that way but also didn’t even attempt to explain," @leomay40996383 stated.
What was the past beef between KSI and Deji?
KSI and Deji, the Olatunji brothers, had a tense couple of years, with their feud becoming viral within the UK YouTube community. For those unaware, the two were not on speaking terms from November 2018 to June 2019.
The tension escalated during Christmas 2018 when Deji reportedly kicked KSI out of their family home and threatened to call the police on him. On May 25, 2019, Deji released a video titled "Bye," where he accused his older brother of bullying him during their teenage years.
KSI responded with an hour-long video defending himself and criticizing many of Deji's claims. He also suggested that if his younger brother needed help, he could simply reach out to him directly.
This feud also strained Deji's relationship with the other Sidemen members at the time. However, the brothers reconciled later in 2019 and began recording together again.
Deji has since appeared in several Sidemen videos and continues to collaborate with them.
