IShowSpeed helped raise $100,000 and a meeting with Cristiano Ronaldo for Portuguese orphan who lost his parents in an explosion

Popular YouTube streamer IShowSpeed and Cristiano Ronaldo are being praised by fans after they helped raise over $100,000 for Portuguese orphan Francisco who lost both of his parents in an explosion. Clips shared on Instagram by content creator Zachery Dereniowski, who organized it all, have gone viral on other social media websites as well.

In the clips shared by Dereniowski, Francisco briefly retold his story about how he lost his family in an explosion which left him with a lot of bodily scars and burn marks. After he revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo was his favorite athlete of all time, the influencer showed him a video sent by IShowSpeed who revealed that Francisco was going to meet the soccer star in addition to the rest of the Portuguese national team.

Posts like those from @FearedBuck have reached millions of impressions within hours as fans praised both IShowSpeed and Ronaldo for helping the unfortunate kid.

IShowSpeed may be known for his chaotic antics on stream, but fans who have followed his IRL streams know that he has done a lot of philanthropic work as well. Last year while visiting India, the YouTuber donated a lot of money to a single mother after interacting with her and her kids on the streets and garnered a lot of praise from his viewers. So, helping Zachery Dereniowski with Francisco is quite on-brand for him.

In his video, Zachery Dereniowski explained how he had met up with the orphan in Portugal and learned his heartbreaking story of losing his parents and sister, all of whom perished in an explosion. Dereniowski also gives Francisco a thousand Euros before revealing to the viewers that he had crowdfunded $100,000 for the orphan's future, with screenshots of IShowSpeed saying he will help.

Francisco was thrilled when he heard how much money had been raised in his name but he still had a surprise coming. Zachery Dereniowski then showed him a pre-recorded video featuring IShowSpeed who informed him that Cristiano Ronaldo would be meeting him.

In the short clip, IShowSpeed states:

"Yo, what's good Francisco it's Speed here. I am sorry for your loss and I heard all about your story Francisco, you are a strong kid, you hear me? I have a surprise for you. You will be meeting Ronaldo. You will be meeting the GOAT Francisco, Ronaldo. So look, keep going man. I love you bro, keep fighting, keep strong. Siuu!"

It appears Zachery Dereniowski and IShowSpeed had somehow managed to set up Francisco to not only meet with Cristiano Ronaldo but also with players like Bruno Fernandes, Ruben Dias, and others from the Portuguese national team as well.
