IShowSpeed left in stitches after making KSI sing Thick Of It on livestream

Amid the recent controversy surrounding Olajide "KSI's" new single, Thick Of It, YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed" had the professional boxer sing it live on stream. For those unaware, the newly released track has received a lot of attention, with some netizens expressing dissatisfaction with it.

On October 7, 2024, KSI took to Instagram to address the backlash over his single', claiming that "it's trendy to hate" him. Stating that people were "repeatedly taking the p*ss out of it online," he wrote:

"Imagine spending so much time and effort into making a song for people to then repeatedly take the p*ss out of it online. I get it's trendy to hate me rn (right now), but can we, like, move on?"

During a YouTube livestream on the same day, IShowSpeed connected with KSI via a FaceTime call. During the broadcast, the Briton confronted the 19-year-old for saying he should "stop doing music."

After IShowSpeed clarified that he was "trolling," he asked KSI to sing the song live on stream, adding that if he laughed, the Sidemen member could hang up the call.

After hearing the 31-year-old sing a few verses, IShowSpeed couldn't contain himself and burst out laughing. Seeing this, KSI exclaimed:

"Bro, I'm going to beat your motherf**king a**! Stupid, dumb, Black a**! Bro, your big a** nostrils, I can't wait to beat the s**t out of you. You stupid motherf**ker!"

After KSI hung up on him, the Ohio native jokingly said:

"Chat, he's about to have Nick Eh 30 going crazy with this track! He's about to have Nick Eh 30 going crazy with s**t, n***a! Nick Eh 30 is about to be doing 90s, selling family-friendly candy with this track, chat!"

KSI says IShowSpeed was "taking a p*ss" when the YouTube streamer apologized for making comments about his music

A two-minute-33-second video of the intereaction, posted on X, began with KSI confronting IShowSpeed, claiming that the latter told him to "stop doing music." In response, the YouTube streamer stated:

"I'm trolling, bro! Relax! Bro, I love your music. Bro, I be deada** sitting in my room, listening to the [a podcast's name], drinking Prime, and listening to your s**t."

KSI responded by saying that the gaming and IRL content creator was "taking a p*ss":

"You're taking a p*ss! It is literally TikTok! That is a brain rot s**t! I don't even know what brain rot is, bro! You're taking a p*ss!"

While praising Thick Of It, IShowSpeed urged KSI to sing the song on the livestream, adding:

"Okay. Look, if I laugh, hang up. Sing it! Sing it! I'm not going to laugh. I promise I'm doing the straightest face ever. Sing the thing. Come on! I'm ready. I'm already in a serious pose. So just hurry up and sing it. Come on, bro! Come on, KSI. You have to hurry."

After some hesitation, KSI sang a few verses from his recently released song. However, when he realized IShowSpeed was giggling and unable to maintain a "straight face," the London native joked that he would "beat his a**."
