Former Kick streamer Ramsey "Johnny Somali," known for his notorious IRL (in real life) antics, has finally publicly apologized. The streamer is currently hosting his first-ever South Korean trip and has already been embroiled in several controversies. Reportedly, he is facing two charges of assault and drug use.

Recently, the streamer addressed his behavior to the public, apologizing for his antics in the country. Earlier, he had kissed the Statue of Peace, a monument dedicated to victims of sexual slavery during World War II. Speaking about his conduct, he said:

"To all the people in South Korea, I just wanna apologize for what I've done. I didn't wanna hurt you guy's pride this much. You guys are good people. And for the most part, other than Mr. Navy Seal here, I've had a great experience. It was not my intention to hurt you guys. I hope you guys can accept my apology. I'm a young person and I wanna grow as a man."

He had more to say about the Statue of Peace:

"I will no longer talk about your statue, or touch it ever again. I hope that I can live in peace in South Korea and we can get past this situation."

Is Johnny Somali facing prison time? Charges explored

Notorious streamer Johnny Somali recently landed in hot water following a series of controversial actions during his ongoing trip to South Korea. His behavior has included disturbing the public and making inappropriate gestures toward monuments.

According to Yahoo News, Johnny Somali is under investigation for alleged drug use following a report made through an emergency hotline. The charges also include multiple instances of disruptive behavior.

If found guilty, he could face up to 10 years in prison. As of now, there have been no further updates regarding his legal situation, and it's unclear whether his public apology will have any influence on the charges.

Former MMA fighter Taewoong Uhm aka Eom Tae-Woong, has publicly challenged Somali on social media, stating that he would "kill" him.
