"LCS of YouTube streaming" - Ludwig reacts to being the third most popular YouTube streamer, just behind Dr DisRespect

Recently, YouTube streamer Ludwig Ahgren reacted to the list of top American streamers on YouTube in 2024, leaving fans amused. Joining the Google-owned platform in late 2021, Ludwig has gone on to become a mainstay and one of the most well-known faces within the streaming community. He was featured as number three on the list of the most-watched American streamers on YouTube this year.

The only two names ahead of the 29-year-old streamer were Darren "IShowSpeed" and, despite the recent controversies, Guy "DrDisRespect." Reacting to the list (posted by the streaming analytics page Streams Charts), Ludwig comically labeled the list as "LCS (League Championship Series) of YouTube streaming." He quipped:

"We truly are the LCS of youtube streaming."

Streamer Charts, a well-known platform for streaming data and analytics, recently shared a list of the top 10 American names dominating the YouTube streaming scene in 2024. Unsurprisingly, familiar names like IShowSpeed and Dr DisRespect made the cut. Here's the complete list (ranked by hours watched):

1. IShowSpeed (24.97 million)
2. Dr DisRespect (14.08 million)
3. Ludwig (10.19 million)
4. TimTheTatman (9.79 million)
5. Valkyrae (7.92 million)
6. KreekCraft (5.90 million)
7. Sykkuno (5.73 million)
8. Swagg (5.62 million)

Nearly all the names on this list are well-known within the streaming community. Despite Dr DisRespect's hiatus from June to August 2024, he secured the number 2 spot. The streamer's high ranking was fairly predictable, considering that his comeback stream earlier this month (September 2024) drew over 200K concurrent viewers.

The only name that might be less familiar to those outside the Roblox community is KreekCraft. He's a popular Roblox streamer with 10.4 million subscribers at the time of writing. Reportedly, he recently signed a deal with UTA, one of the top talent agencies in the world.

From the list, IShowSpeed has the fewest streamed hours, totaling 337 hours this year. His online presence in 2024 has been marked by several IRL streams from various parts of the world, including his June 2024 trip to Europe and his ongoing Southeast Asian tour.

On the other hand, Benjamin "DrLupo" holds the title for the most streamed hours, with a staggering 1,230 hours. Although he's now best known for streaming Escape from Tarkov, he plays other combat-focused games as well.
