"Rigged": Fans react as Twitch streamer Castro1021 pulls Haaland early in EA FC 25
Fans were left in disbelief when Twitch star Castro1021 pulled Erling Haaland's EA FC 25 card in under 15 packs during his early-access stream. The latest installment of EA Sports' soccer simulator series is generating buzz ahead of its release on September 27, 2024. While Ultimate Edition owners can access the game starting September 20, 2024, many streamers have already started playing it on early access.
During his latest EA FC 25 Twitch session, Castro1021 was shocked to obtain the 91-rated Erling Haaland for his Ultimate Team. Considering this is the highest-rated card currently in the game, this caused quite a stir among viewers.
After Castro1021 snagged one of the best cards in EA FC 25 so early, many fans took to X to express their skepticism, accusing the game of boosting streamer drops.

"They obviously juice pack weight for streamers pre release to convince ppl to buy points Friday," stated @xAlexTHFC.

While it is not the only game mode, Ultimate Team is the primary focus of EA FC 25’s multiplayer experience, and players eager to get a head start are working hard to assemble strong squads before the game's global launch.
Erling Haaland's 91-rated Gold Card is currently among the best in the game, sharing its elite status with only four others: Rodri, Kylian Mbappe, and Aitana Bomati. Even Lionel Messi has received a substantial downgrade to his rating (88). This is why Castro1021 was ecstatic when he pulled Haaland so early.
When he realized that he had obtained a walkout card with Norwegian nationality, the Twitch streamer started chanting Haaland's name even before the Manchester City forward stepped into the light:
"Walkout, walkout, walkout Haaland!"
In his excitement, Castro1021 almost disconnected his camera from the stream. When the connection resumed, he was seen jumping around in his room, shouting:
"My camera. Haaland, Haaland! Vamos, vamos!"
