Rosanna Pansino accuses MrBeast of treating people in a "disgusting" manner while commenting on the recent class action lawsuit against him
YouTuber Rosanna Pansino has commented on the class action lawsuit filed against internet star Jimmy "MrBeast." For those out of the loop, Variety reported on September 17, 2024, that unnamed plaintiffs filed a lawsuit alleging mistreatment and poor working conditions at MrBeast's upcoming Amazon Prime show, Beast Games.
Some of the allegations mentioned in the lawsuit included failure to pay minimum wages, sexual harassment, failure to prevent harassment, negligent infliction of emotional distress, unfair business practices, false advertising, failure to indemnify for employee expenses and losses in discharging duties, and declaratory relief, among others.
Rosanna Panisno took to X on September 18, 2024, to comment on the situation. While claiming that she "continues to hear heart-breaking" stories, she claimed that executives at major networks "ran away from funding" Beast Games because MrBeast demanded complete control.
Pansino then accused the 26-year-old of treating people in a "disgusting" manner in private settings. She tweeted:
"'A class action lawsuit against YouTube star MrBeast and Amazon has been filed on behalf of five unnamed contestants in the 'Beast Games' reality competition show.' The stories I've continued to hear are heartbreaking. I talked to a few executives at major networks that ran away from funding #BeastGames because Jimmy wanted full control. The way he treats people in private is disgusting."
"L. O. L." - Rosanna Panisno calls out MrBeast for his response to criticisms over his new business venture with Logan Paul and KSI
On the same day (September 18, 2024), Rosanna Pansino called out MrBeast for his response to criticisms about his new business venture. For context, the Kansas native recently announced that he has partnered with Logan Paul and KSI to launch Lunchly, a direct competitor to Lunchables.
However, the reception wasn't positive, as numerous netizens and prominent internet personalities expressed concerns about the food and beverage product.
MrBeast responded to the criticisms, claiming that Lunchly contains fewer calories, sugars, "more electrolytes," and "higher quality meat." Explaining why he decided to launch the product, the content creator tweeted:
"Obviously, eating fresh chicken and broccoli is healthier but if someone is going to eat a premade meal like this (which millions of people do through Lunchables), then I think giving them a higher quality version at roughly the same price is a net good IMO (in my opinion), and why we launched Lunchly. Also as we get economies of scale and can get things cheaper we will be only improving the product more and more."
In response, Rosanna Pansino confronted MrBeast to provide full nutritional facts and ingredients:
"L. O. L. Remember the last time you preached 'better for you' candy and then quietly changed the formula to be much, much worse after you used it as one of your main selling points? Post the full nutritional facts and ingredients if they're so much better for you."
As of this writing, MrBeast has not responded to allegations made by Rosanna Panisno.
