What did Dream say about Trump? Minecraft creator's response to Tommyinnit explored

Minecraft YouTuber Clay "Dream" recently gave a comprehensive response during a Twitch broadcast addressing the ongoing drama involving fellow content creators Tobias "Tubbo" and Thomas "TommyInnit". The feud originated from TommyInnit calling Kick streamer Félix "xQc" "cringe" for interacting with United States President-elect Donald Trump during his collaborative broadcast with Adin Ross, which took place before the US presidential elections.

Eventually, as xQc clapped back, Dream also became involved by sharing a meme that uses the "R-word" to describe the fans of TommyInnit. Dream's aforementioned response through his Twitch broadcast comes in light of the backlash he has been facing due to the meme.

With TommyInnit subsequently posting on X that the mention of Donald Trump may have been the reason behind Dream's involvement, Dream reacted:

"So, first of all, getting into the disingenuousness, Tommy and I have talked about, you know, politics very vaguely. Tommy and I have talked about specifically Trump, because obviously there was drama, you know, 2020, or, you know, whatever. And Tommy knows my political point of view and Tommy knows my opinions and knows that this is just a lie and an attempt to get people to sh** on me, you know, for being a Trump supporter, and that's the reason I got involved, when he knows that's not the case."

Dream is known to have gained popularity for his Minecraft speedruns and challenge videos in 2019. He eventually founded the Dream SMP (Survival Multiplayer) Minecraft server, an invite-only server featuring other prominent Minecraft creators such as Dream SMP co-founder GeorgeNotFound, Wilbur Soot, TommyInnit, Tubbo, and many others.

Now, with Dream getting involved in the feud between xQc and TommyInnit, the latter believed that it was his mention of Trump that caused Dream to "crack". In a post made on X, TommyInnit wrote:

"All i had to do was get trump involved and he finally cracked, huh?"

While labeling this claim as disingenuous, Dream clarified :

"He knows that I got involved because of my problems with him. He knows that I got involved because he's been shooting shots at me for a while... It's just disingenuous because he doesn't care about the fact that he's lying."

In the same broadcast, Dream also addressed claims made by Tubbo of there being certain "inappropriate topics of discussion" within the Dream SMP Discords server which had left him feeling uncomfortable. Dream admitted that an inappropriate photo had been shared in a channel that had minors, and provided a reasoning for the same.
