YouTuber Pyromancer claims his call-out tweets targeting Asmongold were made by his editor, OTK co-founder responds

The ongoing feud between YouTuber Pyromancer and Twitch star Zack "Asmongold" has a fresh update. For those unaware, a couple of posts targeted at Asmongold were made from Pyromancer's X account. The posts alleged that the streamer "sent his community" after a woman in the World of Warcraft scene for speaking up for "equity and representation."

In a twist of events, Pyromancer took to his YouTube channel to post a video title This Is Bulls*** and claimed that the posts weren't made by him. He said his editor made them without notifying him:

"My editor runs my Twitter page and this weekend, while I was out of town, without consulting me, he made a tweet that was pretty well directed at Asmongold."

Pyromancer also revealed that he had reached out to Asmongold, explaining that while he agreed to what the posts said about the treatment of women, he didn't wish for them to be directed at the World of Warcraft star:

"I didn't say anything. I've already messaged Asmongold about this. I said, 'I agree with the tweet with what is said regarding how women should be treated, I just wouldn't have made it aimed at you.' I don't want this sh*t. I just want to make videos about World of Warcraft."

Asmongold responds to Pyromancer's explanatory video following their online skirmish

Twitch streamer Asmongold initially labeled the X posts "obnoxious." However, since Pyromancer dropped his explanatory video, the OTK co-owner responded by stating:

"You did do it. You gave him (the editor) the ability to use the twitter. I mean you did do it. It's not like you didn't do it. It's just that you didn't do it directly."

However, he added that he was willing to put this controversy "behind him," starting:

"I am willing to accept this explanation and I'm not a person who holds grudges. He says he was out of town...if I didn't wanna believe him, I could easily do that. But I have no real need to do that. I don't feel like I have to create drama."

While Asmongold said he believed Pyromancer's explanation, he also emphasized that the YouTuber should take "accountability," as his editor had access to his account, implying that he must have granted it to him at some point.
