Popular American makeup artist and media personality Jeffree Star was recently invited to Tana Mongeau's Cancelled with Tana Mongeau & Brooke Schofield podcast. During his interview, Star made some shocking allegations about James Charles, the controversial YouTuber and makeup artist.
James Charles has previously had quite a few allegations, including a grooming accusation by a 16-year-old boy in February 2021. While he initially denied these allegations, in April 2021, he uploaded a video admitting to sending inappropriate messages to two different people, "both under the age of 18."

Popular media personality Jeffree Star appeared on the Cancelled with Tana Mongeau & Brooke Schofield, where he highlighted some alarming allegations against James Charles. These allegations, however, are from acts done some time ago.
Jeffree Star claimed that in one incident (while attending Tati Westbrook's birthday party), Charles allegedly "tricked" a 19-year-old waiter into his hotel room to have sexual relations with the individual:
"There was this 19-year-old waiter who he tricked into his room, and the guy said he wanted to leave and James was like, 'I paid for this. You have to hook up with me, I bought the room'...It was disgusting to witness."

Jeffree Star also made critical remarks about Charles, suggesting that money had significantly changed him. Star said:
"It was the height of James' new fame, new money, going batsh*t crazy and not knowing how to handle it all and it turned him into a monster or maybe he already was that and money amplified it. He thought, 'I have money, you're gonna sleep with me.' It was very disgusting."
The allegations date back to 2020 when James Charles' was associated with fellow YouTuber and make-up artist Tati Westbrook, who accused him of using his fame to pressure straight men and making inappropriate comments about hooking up with a straight waiter at her birthday dinner.
Reacting to his alleged actions, Westbrook said (which ended up becoming the subject of several viral memes at that time)::
"Like it was, just like no big deal like sucking d*ck and c*ck. I'm just like, 'Oh my god, time and place.' And you did it at my birthday dinner."
James Charles' career has been marred by numerous controversies. Aside from allegations about his alleged sexual conduct, he faced backlash in July 2020 for attending a party at the Hype House during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The TikTok star later posted an apology video, explaining that although he had tested negative, he should not have attended parties during the lockdown.
