Cameron Brink recalls growing up with Steph Curry
While featuring in Podcast P with Paul George, Cameron Brink shared early childhood memories of having Steph Curry as her godbrother. Brink described Curry's personality as always being full of laughter and positive energy.
Moreover, when asked about how the four-time NBA champion was as a kid, Brink said that he was pretty much the same person that he is now and also shared a childhood memory highlighting Steph's joyful personality.
"Honestly, he was very much the same like he is now," Brink said. "He's probably like one of the most consistent people I've ever known. There is this one story I remember that stands out.
"I was with Sydel in the pool in their North Carolina house and we were splashing water on him and he pretended to melt like the Wicked Witch of the West. He's kind of like a theater kid, he's very theatrical and silly. He's just always acting a fool and being silly so he's just a joy, he's just always so fun to be around."
Cameron Brink's links with basketball elite like Curry may be contributive to the impressive start to her WNBA career. With just a few games in, the Sparks rookie is already showing potential to be one of the league's elite players in the future.
