Chicago Sky injury report for Aug. 15
The Chicago Sky will be missing the services of Elizabeth Williams due to a meniscus injury, while Moriah Jefferson, who was part of the trade that sent the team’s second-leading scorer Marina Mabrey to the Connecticut Sun, will also be absent in the game for an ankle injury.
Meanwhile, Sky’s star Chennedy Carter remains day-to-day after tweaking her ankle in a scrimmage with the team last week.
Phoenix Mercury injury report for Aug. 15
While most of her core players are ready to play, including Team USA stalwarts Britney Griner, Diana Taurasi, and Kahleah Cooper, Mercury’s head coach Nate Tibbetts will be missing three injured players for the game versus the Sky due to various day-to-day injuries.
Rebecca Allen and Sug Sutton will miss the team’s first game back from the midseason break with hamstring injuries, while Charisma Osborne will miss the game due to a leg injury.
