The Las Vegas Aces will travel to Washington to face the Seattle Storm on Tuesday with both teams looking to finish the season strong. The Aces are currently fourth in the standings with a 25-13 record and the Storm sit just below them in fifth with a 24-14 record, which means these two teams could face off in the first round of the playoffs.

Las Vegas has impressed over the final strech of the WNBA season. It is currently on a three-game winning streak and have an 8-2 record in its last 10 games.

Seattle will be looking to overtake Las Vegas in the standings with a win on Tuesday. The Storm bring a four-game win streak into this game after victories over the Phoenix Mercury, Los Angeles Sparks (twice) and Dallas Wings.

Las Vegas should put out a strong Starting 5 to prevent the Storm from passing it in the standings. Coach Becky Hammon has started to rotate her lineup more in the last few weeks but has remained consistent with her starters over the last three games.

Kelsey Plum, Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young, Kiah Stokes and A'ja Wilson will be the likely Starting 5.

The Aces have no reported injuries going into Tuesday's matchup.

Guard Jewell Loyd (knee) and Ezi Magbegor (concussion protocol) sat out Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Sparks and could miss Tuesday's game. MacKenzie Holmes is also out for the season with a knee injury.

Seattle will be desperate for a win in its final regular-season game at home. Coach Noelle Quinn is expected to start her strongest lineup. If Loyd and Magbegor miss out, expect to see a starting lineup of Sami Whitcomb, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Gabby Williams, Nneka Ogwumike and Mercedes Russell.

A'ja Wilson has been the standout player for the Las Vegas Aces throughout the season. The 6-foot-4 center is the firm favorite to win her third WNBA MVP crown since 2020. She continue to put up big numbers on the offensive front and has been equally impressive on the defensive side of the ball. Wilson leads the Aces roster in points (27.0), rebounds (12), steals (1.8) and blocks (2.6).

French international Gaby Williams has impressed for the Seattle Storm over the second half of the season. The forward scored 22 points in her team's victory over the Sparks on Sunday and will be looking to replicate that form against the Aces.
