Las Vegas Aces vs. Seattle Storm: Prediction and Odds | Sept. 17, 2024

The Las Vegas Aces will look to extend their three-game winning streak against the Seattle Storm at the Climate Pledge Arena on Tuesday (Sept. 17). The 2024 WNBA regular season ends this week. Both teams have made the playoffs, but they will be looking to more than just fine-tune their preparations. A win will increase their chances of finishing at a better seeding as the No. 4 vs. No. 5 seeds meet in what will be their final meeting this regular season.

The Aces are 2-1 in this season's regular-season tussles against the Storm. The last time the two teams met, A'ja Wilson racked up a 24-point double-double with 20 rebounds. The two-time WNBA MVP has been on a tear this season and comes into the contest after creating history with 1,000 points in a single season.

The Storm are in good form as well, winning five of their last six games. They come off wins against the Dallas Wings and the LA Sparks. They will now look to finish their season on a high by getting the better of another top-five team.

The two-time defending champions have finally found their groove after enduring rough phases throughout the season. The Storm have embraced defense as their identity this season. Their 83.4 points per game put them fifth in the scoring offense league-wide. Gabby Williams (10 points), Nneka Ogwumike (16.7 points and 7.6 rebounds), Skylar Diggins-Smith (15.1 points and 6.4 assists) and Ezi Magbegor (11.7 points, 8.0 rebounds) have been their difference-makers.
