"Finally we're celebrating together": Caitlin Clark's boyfriend Connor McCaffrey bares his emotions in heartfelt birthday tribute to Fever star

Caitlin Clark's boyfriend celebrated the Indiana Fever star's 23rd birthday with a special message on Instagram. The couple have gotten the chance to spend more time together now that Clark is a pro and is in the middle of the WNBA offseason in January and McCaffery works close to her for the Butler Bulldogs.

That's exactly what he focused on while celebrating Clark's special day, noting that they are together this year in a post showing the couple enjoying each other's company at different places.

"Happy 23rd CC ❤️ (finally we’re celebrating together this year 🥹)! You have an incredible ability to inspire and lift up those around you, and I am lucky to learn from you every day. Thank you for always being you 🤞🏼I love you 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼," McCaffery wrote.

Connor McCaffery has never been shy of expressing his love for Caitlin Clark on social media. Ahead of the New Year, the Butler Bulldogs' assistant coach shared an Instagram story with Clark's year-end post, picking the slide with a couple of their pictures. In total, Clark shared 20 pictures to say goodbye to 2024 and McCaffery was one of the protagonists of the post.

Similar to McCaffery, Clark shared a heartfelt Instagram post to celebrate the former college basketball player when he turned 26 back in July. While celebrating a special moment, Clark even took a jab at her boyfriend.

"Happy Birthday Con! Celebrating you is easy :) thankful to have someone as selfless and as loving as you in my life May this be the year you finally find a way to outshoot me ;) Love you always 🥺🤍," she captioned the post.

To celebrate her special day, Clark decided to donate 22,000 brand-new children's books in collaboration with Scholastic. The former Iowa Hawkeyes said in a statement that she's trying to help others with the formula that helped her during her life.

Clark said reading and education have always been an important part of her life and she wants to make a similar impact on other kids' lives.
