Alex Bazzell reacts to wife Napheesa Collier's heartwarming picture with daughter Mila
Napheesa Collier's husband Alex Bazzell reacted to a picture of his wife and daughter Mila on Monday. Napheesa Collier attended the Monday Night Football fixture between the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears at the U.S Bank Stadium with her daughter.
The mother-daughter duo was photographed on the pitch before the game, with the Minnesota Lynx Instagram page later sharing an adorable picture.
Bazzell, the fitness trainer-turned-entrepreneur, posted this image on his story and reacted to it with a heart-eye emoji. The four-image post showed Napheesa with Mila at the game as both of them smiled into the camera.
Prior to this story, Alex posted another clip featuring his girls as they entered the pitch. Mila was seen getting a piggyback ride on her mom's shoulder as the snippet captured the pair's highlights from the night.
The duo also got to witness a great game between the Bears and the Vikings as the Minnesota team took home the win with a 30-12 scoreline. This victory marked the Viking's seventh consecutive win in a row as they tied the Detroit Lions' record in the NFC North this season.
Napheesa Collier's 3x3 league raises $28 million in funding
The 3x3 women's basketball league will officially be underway on Jan. 17, 2025, marking a huge step in women's basketball. Co-founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, the league serves as an off-season venture for WNBA stars and includes big names from collegiate basketball as well.
As per a recent post by Bleacher Report on Instagram, the league raised over $28 million in funding. NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo, Olympian Micahel Phelps, Trojans star Juju Watkins and Gamecocks coach Dawn Staley have all invested in the new 3x3 league.
During a press release on Dec. 16, this investment was made official as it was revealed that the league received strong financial backing after their Series A investment round:
"Today, groundbreaking professional women’s basketball league announced the close of an oversubscribed Series A investment round headlined by superstar investors, including NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo, Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps, Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Member and University of South Carolina Women’s Basketball Coach Dawn Staley, University of Southern California Women’s Basketball Star JuJu Watkins, and many more. Given their contributions, Unrivaled secured more than $28 million in Series A funding to go along with the $7 million raised during the league’s seed round, which was announced in May 2024," the press release declared on Monday.
The Unrivaled league will be held entirely in Miami and is the first of its kind in the women's division. Currently having six teams, the league will begin in early January and will be telecasted on TNT Sports.
